Reminder! IDCW's Day at the Capitol Coming Up!

DESIGN PROFESSIONALS, STUDENTS & EDUCATORS:

You are invited to attend IDCW's second Day at the Capitol Day in Olympia, WA.

WHEN:

Friday FEBRUARY 1ST 2008

WHY:

To show our legislators we are serious and committed to passing our proposed practice act! Join us in educating legislators and the community about the interior design profession as we line the halls of the Legislative Building. We need everyone to participate and demonstrate our passion!

SCHEDULE:

8:30 am Meet in Seattle Design Center Parking - Load Carpools & Bus
10:00am Arrive in Olympia
10:30am Set Up Student & Professional Displays
11:00pm Lunch & Learn: What to Say, How to Do It, & Why It's So Important!
Lunch will be provided to all registered attendees
12:00pm Talk with legislators, spread awareness, Legislative building
4:30 pm Take down, wrap up
5:30 pm Leave Olympia

REGISTRATION: REGISTER ME TODAY!

Registration is FREE! We just need to know if you're coming! Upon receipt of registration volunteers receive email confirmation. A package of information, including directions, parking information, and a schedule of events will be emailed to all registered attendees one week prior to the event. When you arrive at the Olympia volunteers will be given a package of information for the day, including handouts for your legislators and key talking points. Complete information on how to connect and meet with your legislators, maps, and room numbers will be provided at that time.
